When you first arrive in Surabaya by planes, you will landed at the Juanda International Airport. Take it easy, if you have no people who pick you, you can use a taxi which is managed by the Indonesian Navy. It’s very safety, simple and cheap. There are many hotels along the road to the city of Surabaya, but it's better to take hotel in downtown. Juanda International Airport is still area of Sidoarjo. It takes approximately 30 minutes into downtown. Well, there are many hotels, especially Tunjungan Hotels, Hotel Cendana, Bidakara Hotel, Hotel Bumi Daya and JW Marriot. Overall it is in the center of the city where close to Tunjungan Plaza as the longest and the famous shopping center in Surabaya.
